Invitation to all interested in the International Women’s Day Project – DCTV want to prepare a project on women in politics and feminism to broadcast on International Women’s Day, it will say on Tuesday 8 in March. So we’re looking for anyone interested in participating at various levels (technical, editorial, programming …). Because the International Women’s Day takes place exactly one day before the Dáil pass with only 15% of female TDs, we decided to use our program for women in politics, and especially on the issue of their under-representation in politics. From now on, we’ve got some interviews of several candidates from different parties made during the Count’s last Saturday. We can therefore use this video as a supplement to other video material or other interviews, which will take place to study on Monday the 7th. Indeed, the study was particularly reserved for the Monday, March 7 for the project.
So if you are interested in participating in the project, it will say if you have ideas on how the studies could be used on Monday, or if you have video footage you want to send on the 8th, please, come to our meeting on Friday afternoon, March 4 at DCTV’s office. You can write an email to Aurore Plaussu, Intern at DCTV: aurore.plaussu @ gmail.com. Or call DCTV Office: 4100834 or Aurore: 63951058
